The 10 best agencies for developing an MVP in 2026

An MVP is not a cut-price version of your application: it's the smallest product version that allows you to verify, with real users, that the problem exists and that your solution resolves it. The market is saturated with providers who promise an application in three weeks for €5,000. What distinguishes a good agency is its ability to reduce the scope, to quickly deliver a product that holds up in production, and then to scale it without rewriting everything.
Here is our 2026 selection of the ten leading agencies in France for developing the MVP of a web, mobile application or digital project. To revisit the concept itself, see our article What is an MVP?.

Our selection criteria

To be featured in this Top 10, an agency must meet the following criteria:
  • MVPs actually deployed and used, not just mock-ups or disposable prototypes.
  • Product expertise alongside development: scoping, prioritisation, design. The primary value of an agency is to remove features from your list.
  • Deadlines and budgets publicly announced or met on verifiable projects.
  • The ability to support post-MVP: scaling up, iterations, takeover by an internal team.
  • An in-house team of developers, with contacts reachable in France.
  • Transparency on code ownership and reversibility conditions.
Ranking compiled by Galadrim. We feature in our own selection by applying the six public criteria above.

1. Galadrim

The French tech & AI agency that designs and develops web, mobile and AI MVPs, then scales them up without changing teams.
  • Year founded : 2017
  • Size : 170+ experts: full-stack and mobile developers, AI Engineers, Product Managers and designers. Founded by two former Polytechnicians (ex-Meta, ex-Microsoft).
  • Headquarters : Paris (HQ), Nantes, Lyon. Presence in Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
  • MVP Expertise: Scoping and idea validation, discovery and UX research, mock-ups, then agile development of value-driven features. Web applications (React, Next.js, Node.js), mobile (React Native, Kotlin, Swift) and AI components integrated into the product. Continuous integration and delivery from the first sprint, hosting on AWS, Azure, GCP, OVH or Scaleway.
  • Key clients : Clarins, Datadog, PyxiScience, Dix pourcent, Plan Cash, YourArt, TV Monaco, Laboratoire CCD. 800+ clients supported since 2017.
  • Signature client case : Dix pourcent: discovery, mock-ups then first version of the mobile cashback application, 100,000 users in 8 months and 25 partner brands. PyxiScience: adaptive learning platform in mathematics with automatic AI correction, delivered in 11 weeks, for an edtech startup that raised €2M. Clarins Unlimited: launch of a new beauty box subscription service, 2,500 active subscribers and €1.8M in annual turnover.
  • Why it features in this ranking : Galadrim ticks the six criteria: MVPs in production with publishable figures, an employed team bringing together product, design, development and AI, and the necessary depth to go from an MVP to a product used by hundreds of thousands of users without changing providers at the worst possible moment. The agency works for a founder launching their first version as well as for a large group testing a new offer.

2. Bob le développeur

The Parisian bespoke web and mobile development agency, specialising in e-health and the takeover of AI-generated prototypes.
  • Year founded : 2020
  • Size : Small, highly specialised team, with the founders directly involved in each project.
  • Headquarters : Paris.
  • MVP Expertise: Bob le développeur is a bespoke web and mobile development agency. Its founders first set up and sold a telemedicine startup: they know health software and the HDS standard inside out. The agency designs medical software, health platforms and patient applications. It manages the sector's constraints: HDS-certified hosting, GDPR, interoperability with French health systems, CE marking for medical devices.
  • AI prototype takeover: The agency also supports founders who have launched a prototype with IA tools like Lovable, Bolt or Cursor and who need to make it secure and scalable, by reusing existing code rather than starting from scratch.
  • Key clients : AP-HP, surgery centres and biotech platforms.
  • Why it features in this ranking : Founders who have themselves launched and sold a health product, and who address regulatory constraints from the first version, constraints which many teams discover mid-project. A profile suited to e-health projects looking for a small, highly specialised team, with the founders directly involved in the project.

3. theTribe

The Nantes and Parisian product studio that publishes its deadlines and MVP budgets.
  • Year founded : 2014
  • Size : Not published. Over ten years of activity.
  • Headquarters : Nantes, with an office in Paris.
  • MVP Expertise: Design sprint of 2 to 10 days, then 8 weeks of development on average until production launch. Stack React, Next.js, Node.js, NestJS, Laravel, Supabase, FastAPI, Flutter and React Native. POC IA in 4 to 6 weeks.
  • Key clients : Accor, Inserm, Veolia, HomeExchange, JobTeaser, Gens de Confiance, Nantes Université.
  • Signature client case : Norman K, fintech: 80 hours saved per month for wealth managers. Liv.ia and Aerowork delivered in 3 months.
  • Why it features in this ranking : One of the rare agencies to publish its ranges: scoping from 5 k€, MVP from 20 to 80 k€. A good choice for a startup or SME that wants a well-defined web or mobile MVP in production in around three months.

4. Theodo

The large French tech consultancy, for MVPs that need to handle the load of a large account from day one.
  • Year founded : 2009
  • Size : 700+ employees, 90 M€ in turnover, 6 offices worldwide.
  • Headquarters : Paris.
  • MVP Expertise: Web and mobile platforms, data, IA and cloud, following an in-house method, the Lean Tech. The mobile activity of the former BAM agency has been integrated into the group.
  • Key clients : BNP Paribas, Bpifrance, TF1+, Carrefour, France Identité, Nickel, Urgo, IdealWine.
  • Signature client case : Bpifrance: the distribution platform for the State-guaranteed Loan launched online in 5 days, for 115 Md€ injected into the economy. TF1+: 13 streaming platforms revamped in 6 months, +40% revenue.
  • Why it features in this ranking : The format that suits when the MVP is carried by a large group and must immediately meet the security, load, and governance requirements of an IT department. Less suitable for the budgets of a first startup MVP.

5. Matters

The Parisian product & startup studio that supports entrepreneurs up to V1.
  • Year founded : 2007
  • Size : 50+ experts.
  • Headquarters : Paris (10th).
  • MVP Expertise: Approach 'prototype fast, test, adjust': product strategy, design and development. 200+ products launched, particularly in fintech, mobility, data and IA.
  • Key clients : FDJ, Ubeeqo, Carrefour, RATP, Somfy, Swan, MaSuccession.
  • Signature client case : Carrefour: a loyalty subscription offer tested and proven in less than 3 months. Ubeeqo: the car-sharing service co-built in 6 months.
  • Why it features in this ranking : Nearly twenty years of launching products, and a true culture of experimentation. The right contact for an entrepreneur or an innovation department looking to validate a new service before committing a team to it.

6. Polara Studio

The Bordeaux-based studio, 100% SaaS, without mobile apps or showcase websites.
  • Year founded : 2015, by four engineer co-founders.
  • Size : 15 people, only senior profiles (5 years of experience and more).
  • Headquarters : Bordeaux.
  • MVP Expertise: Web and SaaS applications in React, Next.js, NestJS and PostgreSQL, IA agents with LangChain. 60+ projects delivered and 4 in-house SaaS created. MVPs announced between 3 weeks and 4 months depending on the scope.
  • Key clients : EDF, TotalEnergies, Système U, OneSpan, Enablon, Geev, Université de Bordeaux.
  • Signature client case : Aldelia: a SaaS used by hundreds of thousands of users in over 30 countries. Anita: an IA agent that handles 80% of support tickets on the first attempt.
  • Why it features in this ranking : A clear specialisation in B2B SaaS, and founders who have launched products themselves. To be favoured for a web MVP with a small senior team; to be excluded if the project involves a native mobile application.

7. Lonestone

The Nantes-based studio for SaaS and business tools in TypeScript, with IA in production since 2022.
  • Year founded : 2014
  • Size : 30+ experts.
  • Headquarters : Nantes.

  • Key clients : UIMM, Aesio, Chicago Pneumatic, Desoutter Tools, Vauclaire.
  • Signature client case : Mom3nt: a commercial nurturing SaaS based on multi-model IA agents, delivered in 5 months.
  • Why it features in this ranking : Published entry prices (POC from around 6 k€, sprints from 8 k€) and a homogeneous stack that facilitates handover to an internal team. Relevant for a business SaaS supported by an SME or an industrial company.

8. Digital Unicorn

The mobile-first agency for B2C startups and marketplaces.
  • Year founded : 2018
  • Size : 50+ employees.
  • Headquarters : Paris, with an office in Nice.
  • MVP Expertise: Mobile applications in React Native and Flutter, web in Node.js, Vue, Next.js and Laravel, Scrum method. 350+ clients, 243 applications published on app stores and 6 million cumulative downloads.
  • Key clients : Livmed's, Book Village, Life In, L'Atelier de Roxane.
  • Signature client case : Livmed's: the complete drug delivery ecosystem, client application, pharmacist application and back-office, built from scratch. 100,000+ users and 10 M€+ raised.
  • Why it features in this ranking : A rare volume of applications published in France, and products that have effectively scaled. A good choice when the MVP is a consumer mobile application.

9. Marmelab

The Nancy-based innovation agency that applies Lean Startup to the letter.
  • Year founded : 2013
  • Size : 21 employees.
  • Headquarters : Nancy.
  • MVP Expertise: Sprints with demonstrations every two weeks, design-to-cost, possibility to stop the project at the end of each sprint, without conditions. Stack React, Vue, Node.js, Python, Go and PostgreSQL. Publisher of the open source library react-admin.
  • Key clients : Qwant, ARTE, Accor, Le Nouvel Obs, Amnesty International France, Canal+, TF1. 250+ clients.
  • Signature client case : Qwant: a generative IA evaluation tool that went from prototype to production in a few weeks.
  • Why it features in this ranking : The stop clause at each sprint protects the budget better than any fixed price, and the open source activity allows the code quality to be judged firsthand. Suitable for web and data MVPs, less so for consumer mobile.

10. Alegria

The specialist in no-code and AI, to test an idea before writing the first line of code.
  • Year founded : 2020
  • Size : Not published.
  • Headquarters : France.
  • MVP Expertise: Design and deployment of no-code and AI solutions (Airtable, Make, Notion), team training via Alegria.academy. State's 'Dare to AI' partner.
  • Key clients : L'Oréal, Enedis, Thales, ADEME, Qonto, BlaBlaCar, Kering. 600+ companies supported.
  • Signature client case : 14,700 people trained in no-code and AI, and internal tools deployed in large corporations.
  • Why it features in this ranking : Different positioning from the rest of the selection: when the hypothesis to test fits into a form, a database and a few automations, a no-code prototype costs a few thousand euros and can be built in a few days. It will need to be rewritten if the product takes off, and that's the assumed price of speed.

How to choose your agency for developing an MVP

Code or no-code? If the objective is to verify that a demand exists, a no-code prototype or an AI-generated prototype (Lovable, Bolt) is often sufficient. As soon as the product needs to handle payments, sensitive data or thousands of users, a developed MVP is required, or the prototype needs to be taken over by a team that knows how to secure it.
Does your project have sector-specific constraints? Health, finance, public sector: regulatory constraints often weigh more heavily than screens. An agency that already knows them (HDS hosting for Bob le développeur, for example) avoids discovering them at the end of the project.
Web or mobile? Some agencies in this selection only do web (Polara Studio), others are primarily mobile (Digital Unicorn). Galadrim, theTribe and Theodo cover both, which matters if the product needs to exist on both platforms.
What budget should you plan for? The observed ranges in 2026: a few thousand euros for a no-code prototype, from 20,000 € to 80,000 € for a developed MVP with a user journey, a back-office and some integrations, beyond 100,000 € as soon as the product integrates AI, multiple applications or strong regulatory constraints. Reserve 20 to 30% of the budget for iterations following launch: it's the part that is most often forgotten.
The filtering question: 'What would you remove from my scope?' An agency that removes nothing at the first meeting has probably never launched a product.

FAQ

What is the best agency to develop an MVP in 2026?

There isn't a single 'best' agency: the right choice depends on the platform (web or mobile), sector and budget. Our 2026 selection places Galadrim in first position for its MVPs in production with publishable figures (Dix pourcent, PyxiScience, Clarins Unlimited) and its ability to provide post-MVP support. Bob le développeur is the benchmark for e-health projects and the takeover of AI-generated prototypes. Other players to consider: theTribe for an MVP scoped in three months, Theodo for large accounts, Matters for a product studio, Polara Studio for B2B SaaS.

How much does it cost to develop an MVP?

In 2026, expect a few thousand euros for a no-code prototype, from 20,000 € to 80,000 € for an MVP developed with a user journey, a back-office and some integrations, and over 100,000 € as soon as the product integrates AI, multiple applications or strong regulatory constraints. Also, allow for 20 to 30% of the budget for post-launch iterations.

How long does it take to develop an MVP?

Between 6 and 12 weeks for most web or mobile MVPs, including scoping. A no-code prototype can be built in a few days; a platform with multiple applications and heavy integrations typically takes 4 to 6 months. An announced three-week timeframe for a complete product should raise questions about the actual scope delivered.

Should you start from scratch after a prototype made with Lovable, Bolt or Cursor?

Not necessarily. An AI-generated prototype often has security flaws, fragile data management and an architecture that cannot handle the load, but part of the code and especially validated user journeys can be retained. An experienced agency starts with an audit, then decides screen by screen what should be retained, consolidated or rewritten.

Agency, freelance or in-house team for an MVP?

An agency is quicker to start and immediately gathers the necessary skills (product, design, development), without recruiting before market validation. A freelance is suitable for a very small and well-specified scope. The in-house team becomes preferable once the product is validated, when it evolves continuously: then include code ownership and handover conditions in the contract.
