Leadersanté is a group of over 300 pharmacies spread across the whole French territory, to which it offers various services:
Financial and non-financial aid for new branches
A common merchandising strategy for all pharmacies in the group
Commercial discounts negotiated with all 152 partner laboratories
Coaching aimed at owners and collaborators to acquire the Leadersanté method
The pharmacy group also offers its members a range of digital services that complement the more traditional services.
These digital services aim to address certain challenges faced by pharmacies, such as the development of online paramedical activity or customer loyalty in an increasingly competitive environment. To help the group's branches address these issues, we have developed, jointly with the group, a public application available on the
App Store and Google Play. Beyond online sales, the application offers various functionalities that provide a unique experience for pharmacy customers
Leadersanté.
Find the nearest pharmacy
The user can activate their geolocation and choose a nearby pharmacy.
Prescription scanning and Click and Collect
The user has the option to scan their prescription, which is transmitted to the pharmacist so they can prepare the order in advance. They can also attach their health insurance details, proof of rights, and national insurance number. The pharmacist notifies the customer as soon as their order is ready for collection. Click and Collect helps limit customer waiting time.
Home delivery of medicines
The user can also choose to have their order delivered to their home, within the hour or on the same day, by paying for their order on the application. The delivery person collects the prescription from their home and delivers their medicines.
Booking appointments from the app
The user has the option to book an appointment with their pharmacist from the application, whether for a vaccination, a medication review, or another reason. As with Doctolib, the pharmacist's availabilities are accessible, and the user can book an appointment by specifying the reason for the visit.
Ordering medicines online without a prescription
The user can do their shopping online: they choose their products and the number of items and pay directly on the application. The user can choose between home delivery and Click and Collect.
View your pharmacy's news
Each pharmacy has the option to inform its clientele about health news by publishing it on the application.
Conclusion
Thanks to this application, Leadersanté has been able to digitalise and offer its pharmacies a way to recreate a connection with their customers. Digitalisation in the health sector has seen a major boom with the development of Doctolib and telemedicine.
The consulting firm McKinsey estimates that the deployment of e-health represents a value creation potential of 22 billion euros per year in France. Several disruptive areas have been identified:
Make the patient more autonomous, particularly through mobile applications for disease management and monitoring, medical chatbots, prevention tools, online appointment booking, and online patient networks
Streamline the flow of medical information, particularly through e-prescribing, patient data sharing tools, shared medical records, and secure messaging between healthcare professionals
Make healthcare structures more efficient, particularly through applications that allow managing equipment and stock in facilities, improving patient pathways, and facilitating logistics
Tomorrow's players will be those who succeed in embracing this trend. Galadrim supports Leadersanté and other healthcare stakeholders in their digital transition.
