Since the acquisition of PC SOFT, the WinDev publisher, the perpetual licence has been replaced by an annual subscription. Applications compiled in version 2026 also pay a royalty per installed workstation. Older versions are exempt but no longer receive security patches.
Galadrim takes over your WinDev software on an open web technology. A short diagnostic allows us to present the method on your application, then our engineers and AI agents rebuild each module while the old software remains in service.

    We analyse the code, the database, and the usage to assess what needs to be taken over. The diagnostic allows us to present the method on your own application, with a step-by-step plan.

    Tests written before the code

    We record the behaviour of the old application on real-world scenarios. These tests then verify that the new application yields exactly the same results.

    We describe the rules for each screen with your teams, in a single document followed by all our agents. Each particular case is decided there only once.

Your historical data is entirely taken over and controlled before each switch.

Database Mapping

We list the HFSQL files, their links, and the rules that the WinDev code applies to data, often missing from the database itself.

Migration to PostgreSQL

We transfer all history to an open PostgreSQL database, and place back into the database the controls previously held by the WinDev code.

Check and Switchover

GIE Gestimotel manages around forty Novotel, Mercure and Ibis hotels with thirteen WinDev software applications accumulated since 2008. Our audit showed that this code could not be taken over as is. Galadrim is rebuilding these tools into a single web platform, module by module.
