PIM

A PIM (Product Information Management) is a tool that centralises all of a company's product information: characteristics, visuals, texts, variations, translations, regulatory data.
It allows you to to disseminate this data consistently across all sales channels (e-commerce website, marketplaces, catalogues, ERP), whilst reducing errors and the time spent managing them.

Why PIM is essential in retail

  • Centralises product data: characteristics, photos, descriptions, translations, legal data.

  • Allows for mass enrichment and publication without errors.

Typical Use Cases

  • Multi-market product catalogue (FR / EU / international).
  • Selling on multiple marketplaces (Amazon, Cdiscount, Mirakl) with different export rules.
  • Automated generation of product sheets, often coupled with generative AI.

Caveats
