The need
- YourArt is an online art platform launched in May 2023 by Maurice Lévy, which brings together media on art news and a marketplace where artists and galleries exhibit and sell their works. The startup needed to build this product quickly then grow it without interruption, including an artwork catalogue, editorial content, and artificial intelligence features, without having the time to build a complete in-house technical team.
Galadrim's solution
- Galadrim integrated two full-stack developers into YourArt's product team for two and a half years, supervised by a lead developer. They worked on the marketplace, artist and gallery profiles, artwork catalogue, purchasing journey, as well as on the editorial part of the site and on natural language artwork search, which allows a visitor to describe what they are looking for without using specialist vocabulary.
- A Galadrim designer simultaneously worked on the new screens, including those for the mobile application.
