The need
- The Spain Living Lab research team aimed to digitalise the ZMET (Zaltman Metaphor Elicitation Technique) experimental methodology using an artificial intelligence-based solution, in order to facilitate both the conduct of interviews and the subsequent analysis of qualitative data.
- The platform automates key tasks, enriches data interpretation, and accelerates insight generation, while preserving methodological rigour and improving process scalability.
Galadrim's solution
- We developed two web tools for them based on the ZMET method: an AI-assisted interview platform (image loading, step-by-step guided interview: storytelling, missing image, triads, frame expansion, sensory images, narrative vignette, collage editor, and data export), and an NVivo/Atlas.ti-compatible post-analysis module that detects and suggests metaphors in imported transcripts.
