The need
- SICAM manufactures bespoke non-woven geotextiles for civil engineering, construction, and landscaping. Its orders arrive by email in heterogeneous formats: message body, PDF attachment, sometimes handwritten vouchers.
- Each is re-entered manually into the business ERP, after checking the standard or promotional price, the product reference, the client's identity, and their outstanding balance.
Galadrim's solution
- Galadrim developed the application where the received order is uploaded and then read by a language model, which extracts the client, items, and quantities and cross-references prices with a centralised price table.
- Each extracted value is displayed with the passage from the document it comes from and remains modifiable before validation; validated orders are pushed into the ERP via its API.
- The application is hosted internally on SICAM's network
