The need
- 2 partners at Colombus Consulting have developed a method that allows office designers to allocate spaces according to the actual usage of employees. They wanted to turn it into a marketable product, survey occupants on a large scale, and then present the results clearly to businesses.
Galadrim's solution
- Galadrim designed the user journeys then developed OX Shaper in React. The platform sends a questionnaire to a company's employees about their work habits, meetings, presence, and travel, and tracks the response rate per entity, indicating when it becomes representative.
- The responses feed into a calculation that suggests a distribution of spaces: offices, meeting rooms, call areas, proportion of shared workstations per population. The OX Shaper teams adjust these assumptions, finalise a result, rerun the calculation, and publish the layout plan in PDF, allowing them to sell their method without resorting to a spreadsheet.
