- Travellers residing outside the European Union often face complex and time-consuming procedures to recover VAT on their purchases made in France. Traditional procedures, involving paper forms and queues at tax refund kiosks, can be discouraging and lead to delays in reimbursement. There is therefore a clear need for an accessible and efficient digital solution to simplify and accelerate this process.
Galadrim's solution
- Galadrim developed iDTAX, a mobile application that simplifies VAT recovery for international travellers. The application allows users to easily scan invoices, generate a tax refund slip, and validate everything via automatic kiosks at the airport. Users then receive their refund directly into their bank account, all in a few simple and quick steps.
