The need
- Cera Plus, dental prosthesis laboratory, used bespoke business software developed with obsolete technologies, whose overall architecture didn't allow for evolutions and presented numerous slowdowns.
- Cera Plus therefore wanted to refactor the entire software, in order to abandon the technical debt and support its growth for the coming years.
Galadrim's solution
- Galadrim organised the handover with the previous provider and stabilised the existing system over an initial 6-month phase.
- In parallel, the design phase, particularly the UX/UI redesign, was carried out.
- The developments were divided into several functional groups across 3 successive versions.
- The tool now allows operators to track dental prosthesis orders, between dentist clients in France and manufacturing plants in China.
