The need
- Avranches Automatic, the French leader in arcade game trading for 45 years, is diversifying by opening new arcade halls.
- To enrich the player experience and better understand its clientele, the company wished to develop a comprehensive mobile application, notably integrating a leaderboard centralising scores.
- However, as the machines could not automatically transmit results, it became impossible to feed these leaderboards. Avranches therefore needed an AI solution capable of recognising and extracting scores directly from video streams.
Galadrim's solution
- Galadrim has developed a score recognition engine, capable of automatically extracting players' results from video streams.
- This module combines image optimisation, OCR model and post-processing via LLMs, with the creation of specific templates per game allowing the detection of the correct frames in a feed (score, level, vehicle, weapon, etc.).
