The need
- ACTI'COM equips 8,000 French farms with surveillance cameras, including rail-mounted cameras that farmers control from their phones, especially at night during the calving period.
- After several years of service, its Camérail+ software needed to be rebuilt on more solid foundations to continue evolving and keep up with phone updates.
Galadrim's solution
- Galadrim has maintained the software since 2023 and rewrote it in Flutter: a single application for iPhone, Android, and Windows, therefore only one evolution to develop and test instead of three.
- Each camera model in the catalogue has its own command language, and the application covers them all: a farmer controls their installation regardless of the equipment ACTI'COM sold them. Live image, orientation, movement on the rail, zoom, lighting, recorded positions, including on the farm when there's no internet.
